What’s the worst thing that can happen to the Filipino comic book industry?
People losing interest in reading or making comics all together.
If you weren’t making comic books what would you be doing for a living?
Doing my day job now – a graphic artist.
What is the best advice you can give to a comic book creator who is just starting out?
There’s nothing bad in following your dream to make comics. It’s also important to be practical in life as well. There’s always a way of working and making comics if you really want it to work out. The industry is still pretty small if you look at it. Nevertheless, there are more venues for artists now than before: make indies or exposure online, and conventions too. Like we always say, “gawa lang ng gawa ng komiks!”
