APC Lecture
by Jonas Diego
Robo Monkey Pixel Fighters (RMPF) represented by Johnny Danganan and myself was invited to give a lecture about the history of comic books and the nature of its business end at the Asia Pacific College (APC) last February 3, 2009.
Trypod, the student organization who organized the forum and the one who invited us over for the event, was very accommodating and efficient.
Unbeknown to us, they also invited a good friend and fellow Komikero Wilson Tortosa whose current work Wolverine Manga is currently making waves overseas.
Wilson however, continues to remain humble about his accomplishments and more than eager to share the tricks of the trade so to speak with the young minds who were to be our audience that day.
The forum was part of APC’s Pop Art Week.
