4. Anton Trese will be played (or voiced) by Eddie Garcia

Yes, I know that Trese creators Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo has yet to reveal the visage of Alexandra Trese’s progenitor but it my mind he’s a hard as nails type character considering how everyone Trese runs into seems to know and respect (and sometimes fear) her father.

And when it comes to hard as nails characters nobody does it better than Eddie Garcia.

I don’t know about the rest of you guys but I’d rather that an indie outfit handle The Trese Movie if ever it sees the light of day (or dark of night…you know what I mean).

The first installment in the series, At the Intersection of Balete and 13th Street, can be pulled off with superb acting, great cinematography, and minimal (but creative) special effects. Since I’m on a roll here, I’d go as far as to suggest that the movie be in black and white to capture the spirit of the comic book.
