I am a big fan of Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300 so you can just imagine my giddiness when it was adapted for the big screen by Zack Snyder.

Though certain elements in the graphic novel narrative have been modified for the movie adaptation, it was mostly faithful to the source material, certainly enough to give comic book geeks an orgasm.

Stelios was never one of my favorite characters in the graphic novel but he certainly became more of a kick-ass character in the movie.

I referenced this drawing using a photograph of Stelios, played by Michael Fassbender, in mid-flight.
