I’m not a big fan of superhero deaths.

All too often, comic book companies use them as cheap gimmicks to generate interest and attention and ultimately drive up sales. I must admit, however, that I am intrigued as to how they’re going to pull off the return of Captain America to the land of the living. There was no doubt in my mind that when he died he was not going to stay gone for long. Certainly not Cap and certainly not with the franchise’s impending jump to the big screen currently ongoing.

“The First Avenger: Captain America will arrive in 2011, according to the Marvel press release, and a proposed Avengers movie that same year would include the Captain, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, etc. Thor should get his own feature in 2010, while an Iron Man sequel is all but assured.”
